Congratulations to Jared Schneider on becoming the regions newest Level 4 NTS coach. Training, on top of years of previous training and experience, was a full 9am-9pm week at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. Jared worked with the Nations top archery coaches, including: Kisik Lee, Jim White, Steve Cornell, and Linda Beck. Top level coaching tactics were discussed along with sports science, biomechanics,  and an emphasis on perfecting the National Training System (NTS). Level 4 coaches must pass a written exam, then perfect a 45 minute presentation to the coach panel. The presentation must thoroughly demonstrate and discuss all aspects, steps, and principles of the NTS system to the satisfaction of the Head Coach. Level 4 Coaches are expected to be among the best in the nation and are eligible for International Team Staff positions as well as National Training Camps. Jared left with an offer to return as a coach for the Junior Dream Team.
